Due to heat wave schools across Odisha again closed till 26th April.
Today,the Odisha government declared extension of school holidays from 20th to 26th April in view of the prevailing heat wave condition in the state.
Earlier the state government announced the closure of schools till 20th April in view of the prevailing heat wave condition in the state. Due to the prevailing heat wave condition the state government extended this notice. Earlier the state Government had directed the schools to conduct morning classes till 10.30 am from 2nd April till 1st May due to the heat wave.

Today Odisha govt declares summer vacation for schools from 26th April due to heat wave. Schools will reopen after Raja Sankranti. Extra classes will be held to complete the syllabus of students. says SRC. Earlier the state government has extended school holidays from 20th to 26th April as temperatures hovering around 45 degree celcious and the IMD predicting severe heatwave conditions .
