Odisha government announced to engage retired teachers to teach in high schools. The retired teachers with less than 65 years of age and would be engaged in ‘Teacher on Call’ scheme. A retired teacher less than 65 years of age would be selected through a committee headed by district education officer. The teachers will Get Rs 300.00 per class.

How can the govt. take a decision like this? There are hundreds of unemployed youth wondering in search of suitable jobs everyday. The govt. should take steps to solve their problems first but here the scene is opposite. The govt is busy to rehabilitate the retired persons.
